The type of business and internal operating procedures of your business will determine the processing system required:

  • Electronic Draft Capture - Each credit or debit card transaction is entered into a terminal, authorized, and captured then stored in the terminal. At the end of the day, you perform a "settlement" and the funds are credited through ACH (Automated Clearing House) to your checking account.
  • Touch Tone Processing - Transactions are authorized via a touchtone telephone. Each night, your account is automatically settled and transmitted to the merchant card processor, and is credited through ACH for the transactions.
  • Personal Computer - PC software and Internet solutions are available that can turn your desktop pc into a POS (point of sale) credit card processing solution.
