Secure Email

VIST Financial takes information security very seriously.  On June 1, 2008, we will be implementing Secure Email, a messaging system that will allow us to send and receive information securely through email by employing sophisticated encryption technology.

Secure Email will automatically encrypt an email based on the characteristics contained in the email message.  This is accomplished through a combination of structured data matches (HIPAA codes, ABA routing numbers, credit card numbers, and social security numbers), keywords, and search of expressions found in the subject line or message body.  If the Secure Email program detects any confidential information, it will encrypt the email before it is sent on to you in your regular email box.  The first time you receive a Secure Email message from anyone at VIST Financial, you will need to follow a link to create an account with a password (and a password recovery question).  In the event you forget both your password and the answer you select for the password recovery question, email MIS@VISTfc.com for assistance in resetting your password.
